The V-Bank compact filter has been a priority product for Camfil for many years. Designed to help customers to reduce energy consumption when there is a shortage of space in their HVAC system, we recognized the potential for further improvement. Building on the success of our Opakfil ES, we've introduced Opakfil ES+. This best-in-class A+ (according to Eurovent 4/21 guideline) filter delivers significant savings for all our customers. The + doesn’t just stand for improved energy performance but also improved lifetime. Now, the filter can last up to 50% longer, making it a more sustainable and cost-effective choice.

At Camfil we have invested in our Research and Development for the last 60 years and because of this we have facilities that are able to put our products under many tests to ensure performance. Our ISO 16890 test rig allows us to ensure that the filter performs according to market standards, and we are capable of testing it against a range of different particle sizes and dust levels to ensure that the product performs. The Opakfil ES+ is slightly longer than your average V-Bank filter. The first thing you should check is your HVAC system. Do you have an extra 100mm space in your HVAC system? If the answer is “Yes” then the Opafkil ES+ should be seamlessly integrated into your system. If the answer is “No”, I would recommend contacting your local Camfil representative to find out the optimized solution for your HVAC system specific needs.

With the higher dust holding capacity it may be a consideration if you need a prefilter in your HVAC system. Often its better for the lifetime to have a prefilter but with an increase in dust holding capacity the Opakfil ES+ will last longer than traditional V-Bank comfort filters
