- AS/NZS 2243.8 App A – Smoke Test (Clause A6)
- AS/NZS 22433.8 App B – Determining Face Velocity (Clause 3.1.2)
- AS 1807.15 – Lighting Intensity (Clause 2.2.5)
- AS 1807.20 – Sound Levels (Clause 4.2.4)
NATA accredited testing for recirculating fume cabinets include:
- AS/NZS 2243.9 App A – Smoke Test (Clause A5)
- AS/NZS 22433.9 App B – Determining Face Velocity (Clause 4.1.2)
- AS 1807.15 – Lighting Intensity (Clause 2.3.6)
- AS 1807.20 – Sound Levels (Clause 5.2.5)
At the conclusion of our comprehensive testing, you will receive a detailed analysis report and a NATA endorsed certificate of compliance to verify that your fume cupboard meets Australian Standard specifications.
When should fume cupboards be tested?
- On site, prior to use, upon installation and/or commissioning
- After any mechanical or electrical maintenance
- Re-tested at six monthly
- Re-tested as required by appropriate regulatory authority
- In special circumstances, such as a significant change in the work program, or where impaired operation is suspected
