  • Camfil installed a Gold Series GS16 dust collector equipped with an explosion vent and ISMF Absolute terminal filters.
  • ISMFs are Absolute secondary filters included in the top of the dust collector, certified flame-retardant and enabling air to be recycled
    while ensuring its filtration.

This installation not only treats the dust effectively, but also recycles the extracted air and returns it safely to the production room via textile diffusion ducts.

The suction flow rate is constant regardless of the pressure drop across the filters, with a set pressure adjustment based on a sensor and frequency variation of the fan motor

RESULTS


The customer is satisfied:

  • The conditioned production air is extracted, filtered and then re-diffused in the production
    room with very little heat loss (all the external cladding is insulated), and without the
    constraints of internal pressure regulation or flow compensation by the AHUs.
  • Regulation extends the life of the media and saves energy on the consumption of the dust
    collector fan.

  • Air recirculation + flow regulation = energy savings

  • The filter access platform with hinged doors and tool-free removal of cartridges and
    Absolute filters reduce maintenance downtime .
