The V-Bank compact filter has been a priority product for Camfil for many years. Our ISO 16890 test rig allows us to ensure that the filter performs according to market standards, and we are capable of testing it against a range of different particle sizes and dust levels to ensure that the product performs. The Opakfil ES+ is slightly longer than your average V-Bank filter. The first thing you should check is your HVAC system. Do you have an extra 100mm space in your HVAC system? If the answer is “Yes” then the Opafkil ES+ should be seamlessly integrated into your system. If the answer is “No”, I would recommend contacting your local Camfil representative to find out the optimized solution for your HVAC system specific needs.
With the higher dust holding capacity it may be a consideration if you need a prefilter in your HVAC system. Often its better for the lifetime to have a prefilter but with an increase in dust holding capacity the Opakfil ES+ will last longer than traditional V-Bank comfort filters
