ISMF Integrated Safety Monitoring Filter

The Gold Series dust and fume collectors could be optionally equipped with a second-stage HEPA filter. This secondary filter prevents collected dust from re-entering the workspace if there should be a leak in the primary filters. The ISMF HEPA filter is monitored for changes in differential pressure and the controller can be programmed to signal an alarm or shut the dust collector down, if necessary.

Application
An ISMF filter works as flame barrier for ST1 metal dust and up to ST2 for organic dust.
Installation options
- ISMF filters can be configured to Camfil's Gold Series or Gold Series X-Flo dry dust collectors.
- Due to Camfil's modular concept, ISMF filters can be retrofitted to existing units.

Mitigate combustion risks & protect from dust explosions

Almost all industrial manufacturing, processing or packaging applications generate dust as a side effect. Many of these dusts are both combustible as well as explosive, and removing them from the work place can significantly reduce the risk of serious accidents. It is estimated that there are approximately 2,000 dust explosions in Europe annually. Most of these are minor but some are very destructive. So by extracting the dust, the risk in the production is reduced, but unless the extraction system is safe the risk is just moved.
