Fast Acting Valve

Fast acting valves are designed to close within milliseconds of detecting an explosion. The valve is installed in either inlet and/or outlet ducting. It creates a mechanical barrier within the ducting that effectively isolates pressure and flame fronts from either direction, preventing them from propagating further through the process.

Application
Fast acting valves can be used on all dry dust application (depending on explosion classes).
Installation options
- This type of valve can be used in combination wit Camfil´s Gold Series product familiy as well as the Quad Pulse Package product range.
- Fast acting valves can be retrofitted to existing dry dust extraction systems (subject to review).

We supply equipment which is compliant according to regional regulation such as ATEX or NFP.
